At the end of the day, though this is a lifestyle and party blog, what we want to do, is bring you some form of happiness and inspire you to take that step out of being depressed about your life. We want to let you know what you can do, what you can eat, where you can go to start living. Some people may think this is escaping, but we feel sometimes escaping is just what you need before you head back and face your problems head on, bravely.
Carrie and Rachie started blogging together in 2009, chronicling their emotional state during their then-tumultuous relationships. They closed the blog after breaking up with their boyfriends.
In 2010, both of them missed the experience of blogging together and so they came together, brainstormed and came up with The Cambelles!
From hauling the huge "dua leng gong" (big boy) Canon 450D to piecing videos together, Carrie is the "one-woman" Cambelles crew who does a lot of the behind the scenes work for things a little too technical and a little less girly. As the support team, she does all the blog layouts and helps manage the @cambelles Twitter account.
Carrie loves eating. The self confessed glutton eats with a passion and with too little self constraint. So to balance things out, it is a good thing she enjoys running on treadmills like a hamster and swimming.
Rachie has been at Zouk since she was legal. At one point, she must have become a permanent fixture at the Phuture dance floor three times a week! The resident party queen has toned down but still loves attending the most happening parties and event.
She is also an avid traveler who loves the rush of leaving on a jet plane and has been on trips to Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia whenever she is able to get away from her work.
